ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS MAXNOMIC®:
Due to changes in the production process, the screws for the backrest are already pre-assembled on some of the models. In this case the screws CANNOT be found in the accessory box as mentioned in the assembly instructions.
Of course the screws have to be removed before assembling the chair.
Pictures in the manuals may differ from actual circumstances. They are only to give an exemplary idea. The manuals correspond to the technical state of the art at point of printing. Your favourite chair is sold out and you’d like to pre-order it?
Check out the product page to find out when your chair is expected to be back in stock.
If you place an order for a chair that is sold out you will automatically be notified as soon as the chair is back in stock.
Since our chairs are delivered by sea freight there might be some delay (up to 14 days) and therefore we can’t give you exact dates for the delivery. Thank you for understanding.
ADVICE FOR PLACING A PRE-ORDER:
If you’d like to pre-order a chair that’s currently not available on our website you can place a normal order in our online shop. We recommend to choose "bank transfer" as payment method so you can wait with your payment until we notify you that your chair is available again.
Please note that you will be charged directly if you choose PayPal or Credit Card as payment method.
How do I find out which chair fits me best?
You can use our Selection Guide to find out which chair fits your size and weight. In case there is no automatic recommendation for you or if you need more information feel free to contact us here.
The chair I’d like to order is out of stock! What can I do?
If the chair you’d like to order is currently out of stock you can easily preorder it in our online shop. We recommend to choose „bank transfer“ as payment option so you don’t have to pay until we notify you that your chair is available.
Please note that you will be charged directly when choosing PayPal or Sofort Banking (Germany only) as payment method!
How do I find out when my chair will be back in stock?
The availability of each model can be found on the product pages right below the price. That’s where you can also leave your e-mail address so you will be notified directly when the model is back in stock. In case you have already preordered a sold out model you will be notified automatically!
Can I stop by and take my chair home directly?
You can check out and try all our models in our showroom in Vellmar (Germany). If available, you can directly buy your chair and take it right home!
Which payment methods do you offer?
You can pay your online order via PayPal, Sofortüberweisung (Germany only), Bank Transfer (prepayment) or Cash on Delivery (Germany & Austria only). If you stop by our showroom to pick up your chair, you can also pay in cash or with your debit or credit card.

Feel free to contact our customer support using one of the contact possibilities mentioned above. We will solve this!
Are there any discount codes for your shop?
Unfortunately we don’t work with discount codes, that’s why there won’t be any. Reduced models can be found in our online shop – they’re labelled with a red per cent sign.
Do you ship to Switzerland?
Since we can only ship to EU countries, we cannot ship to Switzerland. Shipping to Switzerland is extremely expensive and complicated because of payment of duty. If you don’t like the chair you bought, we – as an online shop - are bound to ship it back to us on our expenses. We would have to bear all of the shipping costs including payment of duty and all the handling expenses.
Subsidiary agreements are not allowed. The only possibility to solve this would be an invoice- and shipping address in a country we can ship to and you will have handle further transport and customs clearance by yourself. However, a VAT refund won’t be possible.
Do you ship to the USA or Canada?
We can only ship to EU countries but our colleagues at NEEDforSEAT® USA do ship to the USA and Canada!
Is there a possibility to offer or sell your products in another shop?
At NEEDforSEAT® our focus lies on great customer service and competent advisory service. That’s why our chairs can only be bought in our own shop and nowhere else – we are not interested in any kind of reselling offers.
What’s the warranty for your chairs?
All products offered in our online shop are subject to the statutory warranty of 24 months from time of deliver.
How do I clean my chair?
We recommend cleaning the chair with a wet microfibre cloth every once in a while to prevent the faux leather from losing its humidity. A microfibre cloth with fat solvent is best to remove any stains and will make your white chair look good in the long run!
Can I use the standard wheels on laminate flooring?
The Standard Wheels for our MAXNOMIC® chairs are suitable for nearly every kind of floor (incl. laminate, tiles etc.). The wide wheels come with a PU (polyurethane) coating that distributes weight equally and prevent the floor from damages. If you have a sensitive floor check out our Rim Casters: Due to the wide wheels and bigger contact area these wheels are suitable for sensitive floors and carpets.
Why can’t I buy the SQ-Rolls without the HD Base?
The standard chair base can’t stand the high pressure caused by the extremely big SQ-Rolls. The base might bend or even break. Safety first – that’s why the SQ-Rolls are only available in combination with the HD Base!
Please note that the SQ-Rolls are not meant to be used in combination with the XL-Series and shouldn’t be used on soft flooring.
Which shipping company delivers your chairs?
Our chairs are being shipped with DPD. Shipment with another company is not possible due to the big packages.
Can I combine different types of chairs?
You can only buy the models offered in our online shop. It is not possible to choose other colours or combine different types of chairs.
Can I fasten the lumbar cushion to all the PRO-GAMING models?
No, the lumbar cushion can only be fastened to the DOMINATOR models. For the other models the cushion can optionally be placed loosely in the back area.
Can I return my chair if it shouldn’t fit me / I don’t like it?
You are entitled to withdraw a contract with us within 14 days after receipt of the product without providing a reason for the withdrawal. If you’d like to withdraw, please get in touch with us and we’ll let you know how to proceed. Our withdrawal form can be found here.
